The world's largest exhibition on the history and technology of airship technology is presented on 4,000 square metres. One of the most outstanding exhibits is the 33 m long, original and walk-in reconstruction of part of the LZ 129 Hindenburg. In it, a transatlantic journey from the past can be relived. In the individual departments, visitors learn interesting facts about the various types of construction, take-off and landing procedures, aerodynamics and navigation, civil and military use of the airships.
